About Guillaume

Guillaume is a 2D FX artist and supervisor working in animation and visual effects. His primary work includes 2D effects design and animation for productions such as Arcane S1 & S2, alongside a range of other animated projects (Iron-Man the seriers, Fantastic Four & a bunch of music videos).

His practice focuses on the creation, development, and supervision of 2D FX using hand-drawn animation and other mixed media as part of the research and development process. Music has also been an important source of inspiration throughout his work, helping to shape his approach to 2D effects, particularly in their rhythm, movement, and timing.

Workshop Curriculum

Day 1: Exploration of graphic styles and rhythms through design and shapes.

Day 2: Setting up key poses and rhythm through timing.

Day 3: Situation and composition, and more rhythm solutions.
